For the first time ever, team LighT is going to be having a recruitment tournament. We are at a stage where we are almost ready to close the doors of recruitment for quite a long time, and before we take that step, we want to give EVERYONE an opportunity to have a shot at joining. This tournament will give a chance for everyone who's thought about joining, or ever been remotely interested a shot at getting a trial membership for LighT.

A little bit about us...

We have been around since about 2001/2002 and been going strong for many many years. We have grown into a highly competitive and skilled North American based team. We compete in WGTCL Division 1, BWCL Division 1, ICCUP CL Division 2, Massacres League, and Yankee League. We have had strong performances at WCG USA and WCG Canada in past years. We are a highly active team, always having more games played (total) than any other teams five seasons running. If you are a skilled player and are looking for an environment of friends and skilled players, and are looking to break into the competitive foreign scene - this is your chance to do so.

Who Can Play...

Anybody is available to sign up and play this, as long as you can show up the day and time of the tournament.

Time, Date, Place

Sunday September 14th , Starting at 21 CET (3pm EST, 12pm PST). op Team-LighT @ ICCUP.

Format

The format will vary depending on the number of people who sign up. If there aren't very many, it will be single elimination, if there are many people it will be a different format (possibly group stage). All matches will be BO3.

Maps

The map pool will be: Plasma, Othello, Andromeda, and Blue Storm. Plasma will be the start map, and loser will choose from the other maps.

Sign Up / Players

Please post here your name on ICCUP, the tournament will start at exactly at 21 CET, so please show up 10 minutes early.

Final Note

If there are not that many players, the winner will be invited to trial, if there are many people, the top 2 will be invited. Please note: as a trial member you are expected to be active, and be able to compete, or show that you are working hard to get to a level that you CAN compete. If you don't show to clanwars, don't show that you are practicing, or are just not up to par / don't get along, you will not pass the trial. Winning the tournament is a free trial membership (trial periods last about 3-4 weeks or possibly more, maybe even less).

AeriALs Side Note!!!! For the person that does make the team, if you have the expectation that you'll be playing in every cw, or expecting to be, you are sadly mistakened. Just a heads up incase a situation of that sort occurs with the new member.
