Bauer Vapor Xxxx stick or CCM U+ stick?
Performance wise.
And why?
The U+ is the best stick CCM has come up with to date. Unfortunately, however, they have a ways to go before matching the feel, responsiveness, balance and consistency of Bauer sticks, Vapor or otherwise.
If you need proof of that, note that two of CCM's top three endorsement guys, Ovechkin and Lecavalier, are using non-CCM sticks (Bauer and Warrior, respectively).
In fact, the best new offering from the two-headed RBK/CCM beast is the new RBK 10K stick. It's being manufactured by a new vendor through a compression molding process (same as Easton/Warrior), unlike bladder molded efforts of the past.
The credibility of the new stick design is reflected by the number of NHL players gravitating to the 10K, while most ran away from the 7K, etc.
